TERRA NOVA SCHOOL, HOLMES CHAPEL - NURSERY SCHOOL

The pre-prep. school and nursery at Terra Nova School near Holmes Chapel caters for 4-7 year olds.  It has four classrooms two of which are linked with a soundproof folding partition that can be opened to form a hall.  The entrance/foyer is a wide light space linking the classrooms that is also used as a teaching space.  The facilities include WC/cloakrooms, offices and a staff room.  The school has fenced outside play areas with play equipment and each classroom has a door to the outside areas.

The building is in the grounds a listed Georgian mansion and associated historic buildings that form the main school.  It is single storey and in a style to fit with its rural setting.
